maintaining community in the midst of social distancing

We may be gathering online for worship, but we still need each other! Deck parties are our new summer groups to help us maintain community, and they will be happening on decks and porches, in driveways and living rooms, at parks and online. Groups can meet anywhere at any time. You get to be creative! More details will be coming, but If you are interested in hosting or facilitating one of these groups for the rest of the summer, email us at

You can also find online community through our Facebook Groups for Women and for Men.

Why does ChristWay do LifeGroups?

We believe that this is the place where significant life change occurs. LifeGroups are where real life and real issues are discussed and true discipleship takes place. This is the environment where we dig deeply into God’s Word and apply it to our lives. We celebrate the successes and good times of life, as well as comfort one another during the tough and disappointing times. It is a place to be encouraged, equipped, and challenged to become a fully devoted follower of Jesus.

When do LifeGroups Meet?

LifeGroups meet weekly from August until May, and each LifeGroup decides when and where it wants to meet. We can help you find groups that are meeting on a particular night or in a certain area of the city and connect you with them.

What about my kids?

On Sunday nights and Wednesday nights, children, birth-5th grade, will enjoy an extension of our Sunday morning experience called LifeGroup Kids. At LifeGroup Kids, children are cared for at the church, free of charge, by our invested college and high school students who will lead them in a lesson and activities that will complement what they learned on Sunday morning in The Big Wahoo and The TreeHouse.  If you would like for your children to play, learn and grow with us while you're at LifeGroup, you can get a head start by downloading this registration card, filling it out and bringing it with you. Be sure to read this information before you bring your child so you'll know what time, where, what to bring, etc.

For LifeGroups that are meeting during other times throughout the week, you may contact to determine what the group you are interested in joining provides for your child.

Middle school students, 6th-8th grade, enjoy Middle School Nights on Sunday evenings while parents participate in LifeGroups. On Wednesday evenings, high school students, 9th-12th grade, gather and dive deeper into God's Word through worship and group discussion.

How long does a LifeGroup Last?

LifeGroups form and immediately commit to meet for 9 months. Most LifeGroups are open and allow for new members to enter the group at just about any time.

Who will help me get into a LifeGroup?

Groups are now taking a break for the summer, and we will launch new groups in August. Please watch for more details. If you need more information about LifeGroups, visit us at Connection Central on Sunday, call the church office at 238-7677 or email us at
