Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) believes hope starts with food. As a Christian nonprofit, FMSC is dedicated to seeing every child whole in body and spirit. FMSC works with food distribution partners that stay with communities for the long haul, empowering them to move from relief to development.
FMSC meals are developed by food science and nutrition professionals to supplement nutritional needs and reduce problems with malnutrition. Nutrition allows children to grow, thrive and develop to their full potential.
ChristWay will host our own mobile packing event in 2024! In only a couple of hours, you can impact the world by packing hundreds of nutritional meals!
Here are some details you need to know:
- You will volunteer for a two hour shift, so you should plan to arrive early and stay throughout your shift:
- Friday, January 19
- 3-5 PM Set Up
- 6-8 PM
- Saturday, January 20
- 9-11 AM
- 12-2 PM
- 2-5 PM Clean Up
- Friday, January 19
- Children must be at least 5 years old to participate, so families are encouraged to come serve together! All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and children under the age of 5 are not allowed in the packing area at any time.
- To comply with FDA requirements, volunteers should wear close toed shoes and remove all jewelry and accessories before packing. It’s the most fun you’ll ever have wearing a hairnet!
- We only have a select number of volunteer positions for each shift, and they will fill quickly.
